Many Real Estate agents put off a very ... distancing ... vibe, even with the buyers they represent, which can leave a feeling of emptiness in the relationship. Ethan, however, works to break this pattern. As one would expect from an advocate acting in your financial interests, Ethan demonstrates a professional attitude towards the business of conducting real estate, especially when interacting with affected parties (lenders, sellers, etc.) but when it comes to interacting with you, he is also very pleasant, and patient, which was refreshing and welcomed. Ethan took time to explain concepts to me and was able to demonstrate and explain possible outcomes based on how the various parties would react in a given situation, which is crucial for forming strategies during the homebuying process. It was also nice to be able to send text messages to Ethan, rather than have to call every single time, so if you are phone shy, you don't need to worry about that. Additionally, Ethan demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring that I got the best deal. In my particular example, he was working constantly with seller, lender, and title company, and ultimately exceeded my expectations by getting me strong concessions that made the property much nicer to move into. Bonus points for scheduling a mover and a truck to haul the copious amounts of things I had accumulated.
